Unmanned Aerial Pesticide Application System Task Force (UAPASTF)
What is an unmanned aerial pesticide spray system? These are commonly known as “drones”, uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs), and uncrewed aerial spray systems (UASS) that are used for applying pesticides to agricultural fields and other locations where pest management is practiced.
What is the UAPASTF purpose? To generate information and data to support pesticide exposure and risk assessments by regulatory agencies around the world for UAV-based applications.
Who are the UAPASTF members? There are currently eight pesticide registrants that are members of the UAPASTF. The current members are hopeful that additional registrants will become members to support the important work of the UAPASTF.
Where is the UAPASTF located? The UAPASTF Limited Liability Company (LLC) is based in the United States, but the Task Force is conducting research and generating information for regulatory agencies around the world.
